Friends

Our friends Jeff and Kelli and their cute little girl just moved into the area. Jeff got an intership at GE for the summer. He'll be going back to BYU to start grad school in the fall. But for the summer they are here and we get to hang out, hurray! We had them over for dinner the day they got to town. They had us over for dinner once too. We played a couple intense game of Settlers. Yep, this is going to be a fun summer.

My parents came out last Thursday and visited for the weekend. I think they enjoyed spending time with their favorite grand-baby.

Baking away

I had a birthday a few weeks ago. It was a nice day. Greg stayed home from work. We went window shopping for houses, just for the heck of it and we ate out at Basque restaurant for dinner.  I got some nice gifts (although the popcorn popper Greg got me didn't work so it went back and was replaced with a nicer one.) For my birthday cake Greg made me a delicious Chocolate Swirled Cheesecake.
