8 more weeks to go. We are definatley getting closer and I can't wait to see this baby boy. Okay, maybe I can wait because I'd rather him be healthy when gets here than be here right now. Anyway, the anticipation is exciting and I'm sure time will go by quickly. 8 more weeks!

The Home Stretch
Here we are, 28 WEEKS and into the third trimester. Let me tell you this very pregnant lady has had an eventful day thus far. Last night one of the ladies from church called and invited me to playgroup again. Even though I have no kids yet it's nice to visit with the ladies from church and have a little bit of social time. So I decided I'd ride my bike. The park is a couple miles away and a little more than half way to Greg's work. So I rode the 20 minutes to the park and visited for a while and then I rode the rest of the way to the GE campus and ate lunch with Greg and then I took the car home. It was a nice morning and I definitely need the exercise. I also need a new bicycle. My bike is old and heavy and has a flat tire. Greg's bike is very nice so I took his, but I think his bike is a little big for me. I felt like I had to crouch really far and stretch for the handle bars. Having a baby in the way didn't help much either, but it was still a lot better than riding my old bike. It's been a good bike but after.... over ten years it's probably time for a new one. Now to add to the busy day: The missionaries are (supposedly coming over for diner, so now I need to get cooking. I,m going to make green Chile for burritos and then try out the recipe for Gringo sopapillas my mom gave me for dessert. But first. I need to walk out to the mail box and see if the security deposit for our old apartment came and then head to the bank sometime today (while I have the car) if it did. Whew, what a day.
Play Ball.... in style
Monday Greg sent me a text that said we were going to the Reno Aces game the next day. Free Baseball tickets, I won't complain. The product for which Greg writes software had a release just before Greg started working there so the baseball game was kind of a little party in celebration for that so even better the baseball tickets were for the box seats.
So Tuesday we met up with Greg's team manager, who is also in our ward at church and drove out to Reno with his family. There 6 year old was so funny during the ride and reminded me of Mindy from the Mindy and buttons cartoons from Animaniacs "Why? Why? Why? Why? Okay, love you, bye-bye" Except he kept asking how long until we get there. We would tell him and then he would ask how long is that and then we would have to try an explain how long 30, 20, 10, etc minutes was.
Memorable moment of the night: This picture is the pitcher taking the walk of shame after striking out. It really was a walk of shame since during that At Bat the pitcher lost his grip on the bat during one swing and launched his bat into the dug out. How embarrassing. At least he can use the excuse that he's the pitcher and doesn't get a lot of batting practice in.
It was a fun night, but we stayed up way past our bed time and didn't get home until after 11:00pm. Greg sure had a hard time waking up for work the next morning. Thanks GE for the fun evening.
