The Garden

One of the elderly ladies at church a has a gigantic and very productive garden plot on her property.  Her health has gone down hill over the past few years and she is unable to garden anymore. She doesn't want to see this space go to waste so she lets a couple of the other ladies at church garden there.  They asked use if we want to help in the garden this year and since we have no place to garden at our duplex we happily said yes.  I went over there to water today and so far it looks like we have cantaloupe, watermelon, turips, lettuce, fennel, summer squash, butternut squash, cucumbers, and peppers plants all starting to sprout up. Well it's kind of hard to tell among all the weeds. Some of the tomato plants are even starting to flower.

Playgroup Swimming

Last week we went to the swim center for playgroup. We had a lot of fun and all the little kiddles looked so cute in their swim suits.

6 month stats

Well, more like 7 months. Timothy weighed exactly 16 lbs putting him in the 12th percentile for weight. He was 26 1/2 inches putting him in the 22nd percentile for height. His head was in the 28th percentile. Just a little guy.

Father's Day Weekend

Father's Day weekend was a big deal as it was Greg's first Father's Day. Happy Father's Day Greg!
We started out with a super busy  Saturday.  We went up to Virginia City with our friends Jeff and Kelli and their adorable little girl Bekkah.
We took some Old Time photos this trip.
We also took a tour of one of the mines.

There were a lot of people in period clothes, more than I have ever seen. I wish I got more pictures.

A couple more pictures from the day

After we got home from Virginia City I went and picked up the baby sitter and left Timmy with a sitter for the first time and Greg and I headed to a movie.  That's what Greg wanted to do. We watched the new X-Men Movie. We had fun and the baby sitter said Timmy was a perfect angel.

Sunday was a nice relaxing day. All the Dad's got cupcakes at church for their gift. We talked to our dads on the phone and then I cooked Greg a steak dinner on the fancy new grill we got him for Fathers Day. I think I'll probably get more use out of it than he does.

Sittin'

Timmy is getting stronger. He strong enough to stand up by himself! Unfortunately, his balance has not caught up to his beefy Alldredge legs. We're taking it one step at a time though. Before he can stand by himself, he must sit by himself. Whenever we set him on his bum, he'll sit on his own for a moment, and then he tries to look around (usually at the ceiling) and falls backwards. Today we tried enticing him to lean forward a little by offering him toys. The toys kept him interested for a few seconds longer. Long enough for me to snap a picture-but only just.

A Very Merry Unbirthday

Last Thurday was Timothy's 6 month birthday. Oh My GOODNESS! That certainly went by so fast. He is getting so big, I guess you could say. I mean, I can still slip him into some of his 0-3 months clothes and a lot of his  3-6 months still look big on him. But, he is a professional roller and he can just about sit up by himself, I'm pretty sure he can infact, but being the wiggle worm he is he wont sit long enough for us to tell if he can do it.
0-3 months outfit, starting to look small?
Sitting

We didn't do anything to celebrate this special day because we were all sick. Infact Greg is still sick. He is fighting off a double ear infection and a horrible cough.  The best celebration I could come up with was giving Timothy a banana to eat. Don't worry, I didn't make him feed himself.
Happy 6 months Timmy!

It's been a while since I've linked up to all of his pictures on facebook, so here are a couple of links (and you don't need a facebook account to look at them)

Album 1 (His first couple of months just in case you never saw them.)
Album 2 ( This one has all of the newest pictures.)
