The End is Near
Just to clarify I'm not talking about the end of the world. I'm talking about the end of this pregnancy. I hit 38 weeks this past Tuesday, so I've got less than two weeks to go. Well, hopefully less than two weeks because who knows when baby Lillian will choose to show up. I was reflecting on this pregnancy and my previous pregnancy with Timothy. Both have been easy pregnancy's, but very eventful. Halfway through the first pregnancy we finished school, Greg got a great job, and we made the big move from Utah to Nevada. Later that summer we took a drive back to Utah so we could participate in graduation. This pregnancy hasn't seemed too different. Halfway through this pregnancy we made another big move. This time it was only across town, but we made the switch from renting to home ownership. We also did some travelling this summer as we visited Colorado and Iowa.
Maybe this is more info than a lady should be willing to share, but I'm really proud of myself with the amount of weight I've gained. When I started the first pregnancy I was about 134 pounds. Morning sickness wasn't my friend so I got down to around 125 pounds. The last time I weighed myself before Timothy was born I weighed 171 pounds. Yikes. That was 12 days before he was due. Yesterday, with 12 days to go I weighed myself. I weighed 167 pounds. Now, I know the final number is not much different, but this time I around I started at 144 pounds, since I didn't lose the left over weight from Timothy and I didn't lose weight from morning sickness either, so I haven't gained nearly as much weight.
Anyway, the end is near and I'm ready to be done and meet my baby girl.

Christmas Time is Here
Wednesday night we went over to Heritage Park to go to the Gazebo lighting. We had a lot of fun and the weather was really nice even though it rained all day. There was music and lights and fireworks. There was even yummy cobbler provided by the city as refreshments.
Thursday night we put our Christmas Tree.
I also got a little table top tree to keep in the office.

November Birthdays
Greg's 30th birthday was at the beginning of the month. Since his birthday was on a Sunday we found a baby sitter for Saturday. We went to the movies to see Hotel Transylvania and then we went to Olive Garden for dinner. The next day the celebration continued. I made cooked a spiral ham for dinner and baked a cake. Chocolate, with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting. Unfortunately the filling oozed out of the middle and mixed with the frosting and Greg got a pink birthday cake.
Timothy had a birthday this month also. He turned 2! He got to skype with Grammy and Pappy to open some of his presents. We invited a few people over for snacks and cake and boardgames to celebrate. He ended up with a lot of Disney Cars toys as gifts. He seriously loves that movie. We got him a little wooden train set.

Baby Shower
My wonderful visiting teachers threw me a baby shower at the beginning of November. It was a lot of fun and I ended up with a lot of adorable girly clothes and and a ton of diapers for Lillian.

Happy Halloween
We had busy, but fun holiday. It started over the weekend and kept going until Halloween night. We started out Halloween with the church trunk or treat.
We dressed up Timothy as a cute little lion. Sometimes he'd even say roar when we asked but mostly he was just excited to run around outside the church
Greg did most of the work decorating the trunk. We carved our pumpkin to look like Mufasa this year
Tuesday night we went to another Trunk or Treat over at GE. By the way, Greg was a Zebra.
I was a Giraffe
They set up a little maze for the kids to run through.
This is how our trunk turned out.
There was a nice bright full moon by the end of the night.
On Halloween we took Timothy to trick-or-treat at a few houses around the block. He seemed to have fun, but didn't quite understand why he couldn't go inside peoples houses when they opened the door. Eventually we headed home and turned on Ernest Scared stupid while we handed out candy to a constant stream of trick or treaters. We made it about an hour before we ran out of candy, because there was a ton of trick or treaters. Most of the kids didn't even need to knock on the door because they would get there just as the last kids were leaving.
