Happy Halloween

We had busy, but fun holiday. It started over the weekend and kept going until Halloween night. We started out Halloween with the church trunk or treat.

We dressed up Timothy as a cute little lion. Sometimes he'd even say roar when we asked but mostly he was  just excited to run around outside the church
Greg did most of the work decorating the trunk.
We carved our pumpkin to look like Mufasa this year

Tuesday night we went to another Trunk or Treat over at GE. By the way, Greg was a Zebra.

I was a Giraffe
They set up a little maze for the kids to run through.
This is how our trunk turned out.
There was a nice bright full moon by the end of the night.
On Halloween we took Timothy to trick-or-treat at a few houses around the block. He seemed to have fun, but didn't quite understand why he couldn't go inside peoples houses when they opened the door. Eventually we headed home and turned on Ernest Scared stupid while we handed out candy to a constant stream of trick or treaters. We made it about an hour before we ran out of candy, because there was a ton of trick or treaters. Most of the kids didn't even need to knock on the door because they would get there just as the last kids were leaving.
Eating Cracker Jacks and watching the movie.
Here is a closer look at the hats I crocheted for our costumes.
