Timothy is already three months old! He is such a good, happy baby. Aside from being really adorable and full of giggles and smiles, he has learned how to play. He is fascinated with his play gym, which is quite the blessing because it kept him entertained for hours last night while Greg and I cleaned the house. He really only gets fussy when he is hungry. He sleeps seven hours straight at night, most nights. He doesn't grab for stuff quite yet but will clasp stuff if you put it in his hands. He can also sit up with help, and by help I mean just enough to keep him balanced. He still fit's in his 0-3 month clothes but he has graduated from the basinette and sleeps in his crib now. He is just a perfect little cutie-pie. We're so lucky to have Timothy.

Tax Return
Last week we got our rather large tax return. I mean huge. We managed to pay off all of our credit cards and went on a shopping spree.
We bought a freezer to keep in our garage.
I got a Sewing Machine.
We finally upgraded our nearly 3 year old cell phones to fancy Droid phones. Greg got a Droid X and well, I actually picked a not so smart phone that still did email and facebook statuses, but when I couldn't get facebook mobile to download on it I got really mad at it decided I probably didn't want that phone for 2 years so I took it back and got a Droid 2. It was a much better choice to just go with the fancier phone.
Greg ordered a video game and a half a dozen cds off of Amazon and I got an Our Best Bites Cookbook off of Barnes and Nobles (Side story: I ordered it Weds, and chose 3 day shipping and it came Thursday. Yea, the next day. Fastest 3 day shipping ever.)
We spent so much money so fast that we actually had to put the freezer on the credit card, not because we didn't have the money but when we tried to swipe the debit card it didn't go through. Wells Fargo Fraud protection put a hold on our checking account because of the suspicious spending and we had to call them and tell them our cards didn't get stolen.
Today, we even managed to get a home gym.

Like mother like son
Today, while I was getting ready for work, I snapped this picture of Erin and Timmy taking a cat nap after a morning feeding. The camera snap woke them up and the moment was gone, but it made a really cute picture.

Life is tough, especially for babies.
Yesterday, we finally took in Timothy for his 2 month check up. The poor boy had to get 4 vaccines. Fortunately, one of them was an oral vaccine, but he still had to get poked with 3 needles. For the most part he wasn't to grumpy. He didn't start crying until he got poked with the 2nd needle and was happy most of the rest of the day. He did have his grumpy momments and needed a little bit of tylenol. He also wasn't happy with me when I took the band-aids off.

He weighed 11 lb 13 oz. He measure 23 1/2 inches long. The doctor said that put him at 75th percentile for hieght and average for weight and head circuference. I'm not quite believing it because he is almost 3 months old. So I don't know if the the doctor checked the charts at 2 months or 3 months. So I got curious and looked up some stuff on the internet myself.
The charts I found on the internet said according to his age of 2.7 months (83 days) his weight was 27.6 percentile and his lentgh was 43.4 percentile. I don't know how accurate this is either but I do know this baby is getting bigger.

Valentine's
My wedding rings were due to be checked this months so we took the 2 1/2 hour trip out to Sacramento on Saturday to head to the Shane Co. Greg also got me a pair of earing I can wear with the necklace he got me for our anniversary.

All the associates kept looking at our address and telling me that because I live so far away I can mail my jewelry to them. Not going to happen, not after the Shane Co. in Utah forgot to mail them back to me last August. Seriously, a 2 1/2 hour drive is not that bad. Besides, while we were there we decided to do an early Valentine's day and we went to the Cheesecake Factory. That is a popular place. We showed up at the end of the lunch rush and had a little bit of a wait. Timmy wasn't to happy while we there either. He was a little tired of his car seat and was only happy if we were holding him while we ate, which kind of made eating difficult. But the food was tasty and we had fun. Maybe next time we'll go to the zoo while we are there.
I gave Greg a little photobook I got from Shutterfly.
They had sent me an email for a free one so I took them up on that offer thinking it would be a nice gift. All I had to pay was the shipping. It amazes me the things people give away for free. (One of the ladies at church gets emails for free nursing covers all the time. She gave me her coupon code and I ordered a free one of those over the weekend too.) I like free stuff.
Valentine's day was a little less than excting. Greg got called to be the scoutmaster at church on Sunday so we headed up to Reno so we could go the the scout office and scout store. It took forever! Then we went to Ihop for dinner since I got a Valentine's BOGO coupon in my email. Good thing the real date was Saturday.

The Park
The weather has been so nice here in Nevada lately and I need to work out more so I decided to put Timmy in the stroller and walk to the park. Unfortunately the park down the street is kind of the lame park in the area. There is no sidewalk on the street to the park and the walk ways in the park are gravel. It was still good exercise.

Colorado
At the end of January we took a Trip to Colorado and a lot a happened, so here is a nice long post on the details.
The Flight out wasn't too exciting. There were a few empty seats so we were able to bring on the car seat. Timmy was such a good boy and fell asleep the second the plane started rolling away from the gate and he slept the whole flight.

| And a on a subway train, well the train at DIA anyway. |

My parents picked us up from the airport and after a short visit we went over to Greg's parents. We spent the next day with Greg's mom. We visited his grandma Knighton, went to lunch and did a little bit of shopping.

The next morning, Saturday we headed up to the mountains for the real reason we came out to Colorado, to celebrate My Grandma and Grandpa McLaughlins 50th anniversary. The had some timeshares booked at The Inn at Silver Creek and the whole family stayed up there for a few days.
While we were up there Greg and my dad went skiing, Megan, Shane, Brandon and I went Snowboarding and Christin and My mom watched the baby that day.
Sunday night we went out for a nice dinner to Celbrate My Grandparents anniversary.| Cutting the Cake |

| The both gave each other a Gold watch as a Gift. Grandpa gave Grandma a bracelet too. |
| The Family pitched in and gave them a digital picture frame with pictures from the last 50 years. |
Grandma wanted to do group pictures so after dinner we headed back to the hotel and Brandon took a bunch of group pics.

Tuesday morning Timmy and I were supposed to head home, but because of the way the weather was on Monday I decided to push our flight back a few days. We still had to send Greg off to Utah on Tuesday for a business Trip. He had to go recruit at the BYU Career fair. So, Timmy and I got to spend a few extra days with Grammy and Pappy. We also visited with Greg's Sister Julie and 2 of her kids and visited Greg's parents one more time, before we made it home on Saturday. This flight was a little more exciting. It was full so no car seat. I just had to hold Timmy. He slept a little bit but woke up when I had to adjust him so I could put the little tray down for my drink. However, he stayed pretty quiet for the rest of the flight and the man sitting next to me played peek-a-boo with him to help him stay happy. Greg picked us up at the airport and we went out to eat at Outback while we were still in Reno since there aren't very many restaurants once you get into Carson City. It was a fun trip and we were very happy to show Timothy off to our family and grateful to see our family's as well.
Here are some cute pics that Brandon took of Timothy while we were there:
