Colorado

At the end of January we took a Trip to Colorado and a lot a happened, so here is a nice long post on the details.

The Flight out wasn't too exciting. There were a few empty seats so we were able to bring on the car seat. Timmy was such a good boy and fell asleep the second the plane started rolling away from the gate and he slept the whole flight.
Timothy took his first ride on a plane.
And a on a subway train, well the train at DIA anyway.
waiting for our luggage.
My parents picked us up from the airport and after a short visit we went over to Greg's parents. We spent the next day with Greg's mom. We visited his grandma Knighton, went to lunch and did a little bit of shopping.

That night we were able to do Timothy's Baby blessing. We just did a little family gathering with a dinner.

The next morning, Saturday we headed up to the mountains for the real reason we came out to Colorado, to celebrate My Grandma and Grandpa McLaughlins 50th anniversary.  The had some timeshares booked at The Inn at Silver Creek and the whole family stayed up there for a few days.
While we were up there Greg and my dad went skiing, Megan, Shane, Brandon and I went Snowboarding and Christin and My mom watched the baby that day.
Sunday night we went out for a nice dinner to Celbrate My Grandparents anniversary.

The both gave each other a Gold watch as  a Gift. Grandpa gave Grandma a bracelet too.
The Family pitched in and gave them a digital picture frame with pictures from the last 50 years.
Grandma wanted to do group pictures so after dinner we headed back to the hotel and Brandon took a bunch of group pics.

Tuesday morning Timmy and I were supposed to head home, but because of the way the weather was on Monday I decided to push our flight back a few days. We still had to send Greg off to Utah on Tuesday for a business Trip. He had to go recruit at the BYU Career fair. So, Timmy and I got to spend a few extra days with Grammy and Pappy. We also visited with Greg's Sister Julie and 2 of her kids and visited Greg's parents one more time, before we made it home on Saturday. This flight was a little more exciting. It was full so no car seat. I just had to hold Timmy. He slept a little bit but woke up when I had to adjust him so I could put the little tray down for my drink. However, he stayed pretty quiet for the rest of the flight and the man sitting next to me played peek-a-boo with him to help him stay happy.  Greg picked us up at the airport and we went out to eat at Outback while we were still in Reno since there aren't very many restaurants once you get into Carson City.  It was a fun trip and we were very happy to  show Timothy off to our family and grateful to see our family's as well.

Here are some cute pics that Brandon took of Timothy while we were there:
