Play Ball.... in style

Monday Greg sent me a text that said we were going to the Reno Aces game the next day. Free Baseball tickets, I won't complain.  The product for which Greg writes software had a release just before Greg started working there so the baseball game was kind of a little party in celebration for that so even better the baseball tickets were for the box seats.
So Tuesday we met up with Greg's team manager, who is also in our ward at church and drove out to Reno with his family. There 6 year old was so funny during the ride and reminded me of Mindy from the Mindy and buttons cartoons from Animaniacs "Why? Why? Why? Why? Okay, love you, bye-bye" Except he kept asking how long until we get there. We would tell him and then he would ask how long is that and then we would have to try an explain how long 30, 20, 10, etc minutes was.
We got to the stadium and had a few issues finding the parking lot and then our seats. Eventually we found where we were going. GE had two boxes reserved next to each other that night with catered food. This is the box we sat it (before everyone else got there.) Pretty fancy for a minor league baseball stadium.  I have to say they could have gotten a third box. It was a little crowded once everybody got there with their kids. It was fun watching the game and meeting some of the people Greg works with.  The seats had a pretty good view too.
Watching the game
I grabbed a can of soda out of the fridge, RC cola to be exact and thought it was neat how they had the Reno Aces graphic on the can but didn't think it was neat when I looked at the ingredients and there were 43mg of caffeine.
Memorable moment of the night:  This picture is the pitcher taking the walk of shame after striking out. It really was a walk of shame since during that At Bat the pitcher lost his grip  on the bat during one swing and launched his bat into the dug out. How embarrassing. At least he can use the excuse that he's the pitcher and doesn't get a lot of batting practice in.
It was a fun night, but we stayed up way past our bed time and didn't get home until after 11:00pm. Greg sure had a hard time waking up for work the next morning. Thanks GE for the fun evening.
