Graduation

I finished school in April and Greg in June. We promptly headed straight out to Nevada in July for Greg to start work. Even though we had already gotten our diplomas in the mail and we are officially graduated we still wanted to head back out to Utah to walk in the commencement and convocation ceremonies, so we did last week. It was a quick, jam packed trip full of graduation and time with family. We left home Wednesday afternoon and we stopped in Elko for the night at Greg's Aunt Lynette's. We headed the rest of the was to Utah Thursday Morning and and made it to Greg's Grandma's house in Salt Lake just in time to get ready and meet up with my family and head to Provo the commencement ceremonies that afternoon.  That night we had a nice dinner with my parent's, siblings and all my grandparents. Friday morning we participated in the convocation ceremony. We both walked in the convocation for Physical and Mathematical sciences. I opted to walk in that one as Greg's guest instead of walking in my college of Family Home and Social Sciences later that afternoon. That way we didn't have to stick around all day for two ceremonies. Greg wouldn't have been able to walk in mine as a guest because my college is huge and can't accommodate extra graduates. Also, it made for a much shorter ceremony to walk in his than mine anyway so we got it all done nice and early that morning. It gave us time to get some nice pictures around campus (most of which were taken on other peoples cameras so I don't have copies yet), get in a  little nap,  and party with the family later that night. Saturday we headed back to Elko  and actually got to spend a little bit of time with Lynette and her family before we finished the rest of the trip back home on Sunday. It was a quick, eventful and super tiring  trip but it sure was a lot of fun even if we spent over 20 hours of it in a car. It was great to see both of our families and we even got a lot of cute little gifts for the baby from everyone while we were there too. I guess every one is just as excited for this little boy to come as we are. Thanks for the graduation celebration and everything else everyone.
